Talk: The Wood for the Trees by Professor Richard Fortey

Using his detailed study of a patch of ancient beech-and-bluebell woodland as the starting point, Professor Fortey will explore the long view, connecting stunning natural history to the ancient history of the countryside to tell a fascinating story of the Chilterns landscape.

Professor Fortey will be known to many as the presenter of a number of BBC TV series about evolution.
