Riverfly Monitoring Workshop

This one day course provides comprehensive training in the Angler’s Riverfly Monitoring Initiative survey technique and includes presentations, practical demonstrations and active involvement by participants at the riverside. Supported by a comprehensive written guide to the methodology and post-course support from the tutors, you will be shown how to monitor the health of your local river, establish a monitoring group and also how to register your sampling sites with the Environment Agency.  

The course details are:

Venue: Latimer Park Farm, near Chesham, HP5 1TU
Times: 9:30 – 5pm
Refreshments: provided
Lunch: Please bring your own
Course cost: £35 per person (payable in advance)

Course attendees will also need to bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear (thigh waders or wellington boots) for the practical session. If you do not have wellingtons or waders please contact the course tutor.
