HS2 mini summit on March 5th

Bucks County Council, which leads the 51M group of local authorities opposed to HS2, is organising a mini summit on March 5th at Aylesbury Vale District Council offices in Aylesbury.

Other local authorities along the route, action groups and relevant bodies like the Chilterns Conservation Board will be attending to discuss the latest developments. It is hoped that the outcome of the judicial review into the proposals for HS2 will be known by then. Also on the table for discussion is the Bucks Mitigation Blueprint for HS2. This document has been put together, largely by local authorities in the county, to outline the best possible mitigation of the design and construction of the HS2 route if it goes ahead.
