Woodland Panoramas

Penn Wood

This 360° panorama was taken in Penn Wood near High Wycombe in winter:

Penn Wood is one of the largest ancient woods in the Chilterns and is owned by the Woodland Trust. It is free to visit all year. There are footpaths for walking, including a circular easy access trail suitable for pushchairs and mobility scooters. There are lots of flowers in the spring and a great display of autumnal colours in October and November.

Cowleaze Wood

This panorama was taken in Cowleaze Wood near Christmas Common, Oxfordshire, in late April:

As you stand on a path in the middle of Cowleaze Wood you are surrounded by the vibrant blues and greens of a Chilterns bluebell wood in spring. Late April and early May are the best times to see carpets of bluebells and they are always a wonderful sight.
