On Tuesday 28th August the Paralympic Flame will be carried to London in a 24 hour torch relay, starting from Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Bucks.
The route of the relay has been revealed and the Torch will be passing through a number of Chiltern towns and villages on the evening of the 28th. Following a Flame Lighting Ceremony at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the Torch will pass through the following places:

The Torch will then carry on to Watford and through London, arriving at the Olympic Stadium in time for the Paralympics Opening Ceremony on 29th August.
If the Olympic Torch Relay is anything to go by the Paralympic Flame will be enthusiastically welcomed by local communities with church bells ringing and beacons lit.
