The Friends of Naphill Common are very grateful to trainees from RAF Halton for their hard work clearing holly scrub on the common. The holly dense thicket along one of the popular paths onto the common.
At the end of the work party you can hardly believe this is the same view!
The snow has melted and the puddles dried up, but more importantly the holly has gone allowing light in so that wild flowers can return.
